| The Foundation of MAPI (FOMAPI) is devoted to raising funds
for charities every year. A share of the donations is given to support medical
clinics in India and Michigan. The remaining money is donated to charitable
causes in United States and India. MAPI and its members are involved in running
free clinics in three Michigan cities, Taylor, Lansing, and Flint. It is the
goal of both AAPI and MAPI to encourage Indian and US-born Indian physicians to
continue these charitable and educational ideals.
